Globalization (G) !!! Huh!! the very thought of this word flashes me lot of ideas. We had one of the eminent and well read personalities/industry experts give us a talk on it for about 90 minutes. Well! he opined that conglomeration is not the way to go, and he called that the portfolio allocation of the funds.
No evils in Globalizing strategy at all, ok... sans the social issues.Why do even need to do that?. Main areas of focus would be the handling of cultural issues when G strat is implemented. G strives for the stability of an economy ooo!! different isnt it! Go for G when front-end is different and less costly ..say for example you can leverage R&D spending and spread it across the P.O.S in different countries... hmmm.... A good one on that where he said that one 'thomas' would be better off in a 'perceivedly-low-profile' BPO job than smokin beedi in the backwaters of kerala....
Neway!! enuf of gyan.. the talk was however different this time.. No densely populated Ppts ( thank god) .it was a kinda discussion .. good Qs coupled with some rotten ones. chalega tho..
The discussion went good and we were all full of thoughts/atleast supposed to be :p.

Nevertheless ,it left me thinking , 'krishnan.. whachu got out of it?' Globalization m8!!! c'mon u can do it better!!
